Hosting “Premium”

Web hosting is a service that allows organizations and individuals to post a website or web page onto the Internet. A web host, or web hosting service provider, is a business that provides the technologies and services needed for the website or web page to be viewed in the Internet. Websites are hosted, or stored, on special computers called servers. When Internet users want to view your website, all they need to do is type your website address or domain into their browser. Their computer will then connect to your server and your web pages will be delivered to them through the browser.  Most hosting companies require that you own your domain in order to host with them. If you do not have a domain, the hosting companies will help you purchase one

Classification

Smaller hosting services. The most basic thing is the web page and the small-scale file hosting, where the files can be loaded using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The files are generally delivered to the Web with minimal processing. Many Internet service providers (ISP) offer this service for free to subscribers. Individuals and organizations can also get web hosting from alternative service providers. The free web hosting service is offered by different companies with limited services, sometimes backed by ads, and often limited compared to paid hosting. Hosting a single page is usually sufficient for personal web pages.

Larger hosting services. Many large companies that are not Internet service providers need to be permanently connected to the web to send emails, files, etc. to other sites. The company can use the computer as a website to provide details of its products, services and online ordering facilities. A complex site requires a more complete package that provides database support and application development platforms. These facilities allow clients to write or install scripts for applications such as forums and content management. In addition, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is typically used for websites that want to keep data transmitted more securely.
